Natural Stone Polish. The only way to add natural or additional shine to travertine or marble is to physically polish it through a very methodical process of creating a peanut butter type slurry and using a 150 pound machine to drive this slurry into the stone. Shine can be artificially added to travertine with topical seals. We advise against this because the topical seal will wear off in traffic patterns and quite frankly it is the wrong way to add shine to stone. Most marble or travertine floors just need a good quality clean and seal. Again stone floors should be evaluated firsthand because there are usually many factors involved.
